StreetDrone, a leading developer of automated vehicle technology headquartered in Oxford, has partnered with award-winning local charity, Restore, to raise awareness of adult mental health ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week (9th-15th May).

With 1 in 4 people in England experiencing a mental health problem, such as anxiety or depression1, there has never been a more important time for businesses to dedicate time and effort to providing support and education to their staff as well as the wider community.

The partnership between StreetDrone and Restore will see the two Oxford-based organisations come together to learn and create new ways of improving not only the mental health of StreetDrone staff but also to provide an opportunity to give back to the local community.

Restore will share best practice in mental health via training StreetDrone staff, from mental health first aiders to general support strategies for all staff members. In addition, StreetDrone team will also be involved in a number of volunteering days, charity events and the promotion of the amazing work Restore deliver in Oxfordshire in the coming months.
To celebrate the new partnership thirteen StreetDrone staff, along with family and friends, are taking part in the Blenheim Palace Fun Run, set in the grounds of the World Heritage Site, on 15th May 2022. StreetDrone has created a JustGiving page with all proceeds going to Restore.

Lesley Dewhurst, Chief Executive Officer at Restore said, “We’re so excited to be working with StreetDrone. They are a truly progressive company, putting words into action when it comes to mental health. This is a great opportunity for us all to learn from each other and find new and exciting ways of improving the mental health of the county together and we are particularly pleased to be launching our partnership during Mental Health Awareness Week.”

Bindu Patel, Head of People at StreetDrone added, “At StreetDrone, we pride ourselves on being a close team where supporting each other’s mental health is a key part of developing our organisational culture. Our partnership with Restore will allow us to discover more about this important topic, and also pass our learnings onto our local community.”

StreetDrone and Restore’s partnership will see a long-term commitment to providing support to staff along with giving back to the local community.
