Come and meet the StreetDrone team in Los Angeles during November.

Updated: Nov 13, 2019

StreetDrone is making its breakthrough into the US connected and autonomous vehicle technology market!

The StreetDrone team will be attending key events in the new mobility calendar: Comotion LA (14-15 November), and Automobility LA (18-21 November). Supported by the UK Government’s Department for International Trade’s GREAT campaign. StreetDrone will be exhibiting its autonomous Twizy platform, as it begins to offer its products to North American customers for the first time.

The vehicle attending will be an original StreetDrone Twizy – this one is affectionately named ‘Alice’. As with all StreetDrone Vehicles, this comes with an open interface and full drive-by-wire and sensor suite as standard within StreetDrone’s current range.

The StreetDrone Twizy (‘Alice’) departing for Los Angeles

With 30,000 + attendees expected across the two events, the StreetDrone team will be busy discussing how they can help ensure faster, easier and safer deployment of autonomous vehicle trials in the hearts of US cities. StreetDrone is distinct in its ‘Open’ approach (data, vehicles, software) in this area, ensuring that its customers are able to learn at an accelerated rate.

This StreetDrone Twizy, Alice, will have her debut USA showing at the British Consul-General’s Residence in Los Angeles on 13 November – It’ll be a fantastic opportunity for the select guests to see some British innovation and learn more about autonomous vehicles for urban mobility.

Alice will take pride of place at CoMotion LA on the “Street of the Future”, among many other mobility solutions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience some French Joie de vivre – we know of only 6 Twizys in the USA, so come and visit the stand and have a seat in the most unique vehicle at the show!

AutoMobility LA will see Alice sit alongside a full range of new vehicle unveilings, including Audi, Kia and Infiniti. Whilst the latter aim to show off their latest production car to the masses, StreetDrone will be showing how open source software and drive-by-wire, open interface vehicles combine into a full stack to provide valuable trials for city administrations, public and private mass transit businesses, urban delivery services and campuses.
